So I snapped this up to created a practical little piece to wear. It has a plaited leather necklace. The history of corkscrews dates back to ancient Greece, where they used a tool called the "triglyph" to extract corks from amphorae (large clay jars used to store wine). However, the modern corkscrew, as we know it today, was invented in the late 18th century.
