Battling waves of heavy rain which would last a few minutes I took some pictures of the San Diego skyline

In the afternoon light the small trees along the street were casting a shadow on the building which I found interesting since the trees had already lost their leaves bringing the two similar empty items together

Those times the clouds roll into Juneau it does become interesting looking at the mountains around town

Where I was standing in this picture is no longer possible since a building is being constructed right there

This Lutheran church stands almost 250 feet high and being on a hill is visible from many areas of the city

Balconies at UC Santa Barbara Size:11"x14" Battling waves of heavy rainAs I walked around the University of California Santa Barbara campus on an August morning, the sun was just starting to breakthrough the clouds. This gave some areas of soft light, and also shadows from the morning light. Progressing through the campus I stopped and turned back from the direction I had just came from when I noticed this scene on a building to the side. It is a simple image but the colors is what brought my attention to the subject.
