as were the early Chads and although he has a label instead of a button it does seem to me to indentify him as Chad

z(1918-20) Red. Showcased by Josie Rockett Plush Brown his mohair coverage is goodThis is Red, he is a very rare and extremely well loved red Chad Valley bear. He is is wood wool filled which dates him to 1920 or earlier. He has lost much of his mohair but what remains is such a beautiful vibrant colour. His pads are long ago recovered and he has been given replacement boot button eyes that suit him well. He has remains of his nose and has lost his mouth stitching, he also has hints of his claws remaining. He could be given lots of
