A Large Signed Japanese Hozan Kiln Arita Ware Charger Plate Biography: Noel Counihan is seenA hand decorated porcelain Arita Ware charger plate from the Hozan Kiln in Japan, from the second half of the 20th Century. Hand signed to the back and finished in a smooth, shiny glaze. Display stand not included. Measurements: 31cm diameter Condition: The plate presents in good condition with surface scratches throughout, minor firing flaws in the form of brown stain spots from impurity within glaze. No chips, cracks or restoration.
