In the last week or so the fall colors around the Denver metro area have been peaking

As I was photographing the morning and what there was of the light I noticed the person in the above image heading away from the city

While I have some photographs of Washington Park and Sloans Lake in the snow

I noticed the shadow from the bridge to the bay below and stopped to photograph this scene as a boat emerged from under the bridge

Lakeside Amusement Park Presentation:Matted In the last week orThe winter brings a shorter amount of time to photograph within daylight. On a November evening I was around Lakeside Amusement Park and thought I would stop by to see if I could find an image. Right after parking the car and walking towards the park I noticed this scene. One challenge was finding the right position which didn't put me right in the middle of a road near the park. After some looking I found this perspective capturing the amusement park
