六代 小川文齋（興）様によるこの「練込ぐい呑み」は、まるで土そのものが語りかけてくるかのような、根源的な力を湛えた小品です。ひと握りほどの器に収められた土の風景は、単なる造形を超え、手に取る者の感性をじわりと刺激します。

水指としての象徴性水指は茶の湯で 〈清浄〉と〈節度〉 を象徴する道具。口を小さく、胴を張らせた算盤珠形は、水の「湛えられた静けさ」を視覚的に強調し、取り合わせ全体に中央重心を生み出す役割を果たします。
