The hinge at the back of the five bands binds them together and allows them to spread apart subtly on the finger giving the appearance of five distinct rings

Our jeweler transformed the piece by removing the pin findings and welding on a split 14k gold band

The beautifully rendered locket features rose cut ruby eyes and a diamond in its mouth

but we've had a very similar piece in the past that was made by Sloan & Co

The petals are curved to mimic the shape of a real pansy flower and the center is accented by a lustrous post set pearl
